Blackfun won the 1976 New Zealand Quarter Ton Cup with

The yacht is built of Glass over foam on plywood frame.
In 1999 she was fitted with a custom built keel weighing in at
220kg.
Also she has an oversize rig and runs a masthead kite from
the Ross 930 class.
